A New Business Model?

The world of XR art is an emerging industry that is developing extremely fast and from many decentralized efforts. As a VR artist and XR art curator, and XR producer, I had the opportunity to participate in a panel on new business models for the XR art industry.

The Panel was organized by The Contemporary Art Galleries Association (AGAC), as part of the Forum sur le marché de l’art (Forum on the art market). AGAC is a non-profit organization that brings together galleries across Canada, and defends the moral and economic interests of its members and ensures the recognition and prosperity of the market for contemporary art in Canada.

The panel was composed of:

  • Nicholas S. Roy - President and Creative Director at DPT Studio
  • Myriam Achard – Director of public relations and communications at Phi Centre
  • Samuel Arsenault-Brassard – XR artist, XR art curator, and Product Owner at VIM
