First, you'll need to be logged into your VIM Cloud account. Once logged in you'll be able to create folders and upload files from the user interface.

Make sure you're logged into to your VIM Cloud Conversion account, locate the file you want to download, select the file, and click the download button.

When you upload VIM files to the Cloud dashboard, they become sharable across your team and available for download to your desktop or other VIM apps.

Once you have exported your .vim file from the VIM for Revit plugin and uploaded to your VIM Cloud account, you can click the file and it will open in the VIM for WebGL application. If you need further assitance in the process, please watch our VIM Cloud Introduction video.

Easy! When you upload your VIM project, you'll find a share link on the VIM for WebGL application and Business Intelligence reports windows. You can find the link in the upper right of the user interface.

Yup! We only charge for the creation or editing of VIM files. You can share a VIM for Windows application with whoever you like. Into Spatial Computing? Our Magic Leap app is free too!

Right mouse click on any object will open a dialog with the BIM properties.

You can open it using the hamburger menu (looks like three little lines), or you can double click on any VIM you find on your computer.

It's pretty straightforward. Select the VIM menu and choose open. Navigate your file browser to a VIM and load it. There will be a few import options to pick from, and then you're in!

VIM easily exports Autodesk Revit projects into Autodesk 3ds Max through our SDK integrations. Please contact a Sales representative for further assistance obtaining access to the VIM SDK with the Autodesk 3ds Max integration.

In HTTP server/clientscenarios the web-client (e.g. a browser) will automatically decompress contentthat is compressed (e.g. using gzip) and served with the appropriate contentencoding header. The VIM for Windows application is built for Windows 10/11 (x64). The computer must have a graphics device capable of running the Vulkan renderer with support forthe VK_KHR_draw_indirect_count extension.
